Full custom van conversions and off-grid electrical systems — built right, in Southwest Florida.
At Liberty Van Conversions, we take a bare cargo van and transform it into a fully functional, beautifully crafted home on wheels. Every build starts with your unique lifestyle in mind — whether you're a full-time van lifer, a weekend adventurer, or someone who wants the freedom to roam without sacrificing comfort.
We handle the entire process from start to finish: insulation, structural framing, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, flooring, and finishing touches. You get a turnkey build that's ready to hit the road.
Start Your BuildHere's what goes into a Liberty Van Conversions build. Every system is designed to work together — reliable, durable, and beautiful.
Solid wood framing system custom-engineered to your layout, forming the backbone of every cabinet, wall, and compartment in the build.
Comprehensive thermal and acoustic insulation on walls, ceiling, and floor — keeping you comfortable in both Florida heat and cold-weather adventures.
Custom kitchen with sink, faucet, butcher block or quartz countertops, 12V compressor refrigerator, and induction cooktop — everything you need to cook real meals on the road, with zero propane.
Private full bathroom with luxury tile, rain shower head, and composting or flushing toilet. Because van life should never mean sacrificing your daily routine.
Convertible dinette seating that folds into a full-size bed, or a fixed sleeping platform — designed for maximum comfort and easy transition from day to night.
Lithium battery bank, rooftop solar panels, inverter, 12V and 120V outlets, USB ports, and shore power hookup — fully off-grid capable and easy to live with.
Hand-built cabinets, overhead storage, garage storage under the bed, and clever compartments that make the most of every inch of your van.
Roof fan, window ventilation, and 12V air conditioning — keeping air flowing and temperatures comfortable year-round, all powered by your battery system. No generator, no propane.
Dark hardwood vinyl flooring and shiplap or smooth wall paneling — finished in crisp white for that clean, modern aesthetic our builds are known for.
Recessed LED ceiling lights, under-cabinet task lighting, and ambient accent lights — dimmable and controllable for any mood or setting.
Additional side windows and roof vents cut and installed for natural light and fresh air, transforming your cargo van into a bright, open living space.
Matte black cabinet hardware, stainless fixtures, and premium materials chosen for both durability and style — your build will turn heads wherever you go.
Modern van and RV life has changed. 12V air conditioners, 12V compressor refrigerators, induction cooktops, and tankless water heaters have replaced propane — and a properly built electrical system powers all of it. No propane tanks, no generator noise, no shore power dependence.
If you have an existing campervan, RV, or converted vehicle and you're ready to upgrade to a true all-electric setup, we can install a complete Victron off-grid system. We build and install these systems the same way we do in our full custom builds: clean wiring, properly fused, properly sized, and built to last. No shortcuts.
There are cheaper components out there. Victron isn't one of them — and that's the point.
Victron's VictronConnect and VRM portal give you real-time visibility into your solar input, battery state, power draw, and charging status — from your phone, anywhere.
Victron components are designed around lithium battery chemistry. The charge profiles, communication protocols, and protection systems are built specifically to get the most out of a lithium bank — not retrofitted from lead-acid thinking.
A Victron system isn't just components in a box — the MPPT, inverter/charger, battery monitor, and Cerbo GX communicate over VE.Bus and VE.Direct. The system manages itself intelligently: solar, alternator, and shore power all coordinated automatically.
Whether you have a Sprinter conversion, a Class B motorhome, a fifth wheel, a travel trailer, or a DIY build that needs a proper electrical overhaul — Victron scales to fit. We'll design a system sized for your actual power needs.
Victron is the industry standard for a reason — it's supported globally, parts are available everywhere, and any qualified technician can pick up where we left off. You're not locked into a proprietary system.
12V air conditioner, 12V compressor fridge, induction cooktop, tankless water heater, microwave, CPAP — a properly sized Victron system with lithium batteries runs a fully propane-free rig. We'll size it to your actual power needs.
Our preferred model is simple: you bring us your van, we sign a build contract, and we get to work. No guessing whether there's a buyer at the end — it's your van, your build, guaranteed.
You source the cargo van — we can help advise on year, model, and spec. We work primarily with Mercedes Sprinters and Ford Transits. Bring us a bare cargo van and we'll take it from there.
Before a single screw goes in, we agree on the full scope of the build in writing. You know exactly what you're getting and what it costs — no surprises.
A deposit covers materials and gets the build started. Remaining payments are structured in disbursements tied to build milestones, with the final payment due at completion.
Once your contract is signed, your build gets our full attention. Current build time is approximately 6 months from contract to completion.
Cabinet style, color, countertop, tile, shower tile, flooring, hardware, fixtures — all your decisions. We present options, you make the calls. The result is a van that looks and feels exactly like yours.
When the build is complete, we do a full walkthrough of every system, every switch, and every detail — so you drive away knowing your van inside and out.
Here's how a Liberty Van Conversions build comes together — every stage in order, built on the one before it.
We start with your lifestyle, travel plans, and priorities. From there we finalize your floor plan — choosing between the Sanibel, the Captiva, or a fully custom layout — and nail down every finish before anything is ordered.
Full scope in writing. Deposit collected. Materials ordered. Your build slot is locked in and the clock starts.
The van interior is stripped, rust-treated, sealed, and fully insulated — thermal and acoustic — before any framing begins.
Structural framing goes in, followed by all wiring runs, solar leads, and plumbing lines — everything routed clean before the walls close up.
Wall paneling, ceiling, and flooring are installed. Solar panels, battery bank, inverter, and all electrical panels are connected and commissioned.
Custom cabinets go in, countertops are installed, plumbing is connected, and all the finish work — tile, hardware, fixtures, lighting — brings the build to life.
Every Liberty Van Conversions build is approached like a fine piece of craftsmanship. We don't rush. We don't cut corners. We take the time to frame it right, wire it right, and finish it right.
The photos in our gallery show both our finished builds and the behind-the-scenes construction work — because we're proud of every stage of the process, not just the final product.
